Where in Germany was that taken? Looks more like a North American house than a German "haus" (no brick, no tile roof).

when i first saw the picture my initial impression was that house looks typical german 60s and when i read the backside written in german i assumed its germany, but yes, it could be very well the US.

The top photo is of the U.S.Air Force Academy here in Colorado Springs. To the far right is the AFA Chapel with its 17 spires, which (very unofficially, of course) represent the President, the Vice President, the SECDEF, Assistant SECDEF, SECAF, Assistant SECAF, SECNAV, Assistant SECNAV, SECARMY, Assistant SECARMY, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Vice Chaiman of the JCS, the Chief of Staff of the Army, the Chief of Naval Operations, the Chief of Staff of the Air Force, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and the Chief of the National guard Bureau.

Joe, now that you mention it i recognize the building. i have a national geographic magazine from 1959 or 60 with lots of photos of the colorado springs air force academy.

Location: Lower Mainland BC		See attached photo of me (age 4.9 yrs) with my Dad (age 32.5)(Huh, I'm exactly 2x's that age now) and his then "new"(slightly used) 1955 Canadian Dodge Regent flat-head 6 (3 on tree) somewhere outside Regina, Saskatchewan in March 56, the afternoon that he bought the car. Eventually (11+ years later) it became my first car when I turned 16 in 1967. I had the car through the rest of high school (Grades 11 and 12) and 4 years of university before selling it Aug 1972 and buying a 1968 Fury I ex-detective grade 4dr cop car. (Dad had previously moved to a 65 Plymouth Fury III in 1966 and later had a 75 Plymouth Gran Fury 440 4bbl wagon, a 1976 Fury I plain Jane 360 4 dr government car and a 1976 Chrysler Windsor 400 4dr). When he stopped driving at age 83 due to eyesight issues, the last car he had was the 75 Wagon. The 55 was the only FL car during all that. My uncle had a 56 CRL 4dr hardtop (white, black and yellow) similar to the one below. All of these influences resulted in me, at age 65, buying the 56 CR D500 4dr sedan, a form of insanity (I think).
