Elite Veteran Posts: 1102 Location: Hayward, Calif | Hey Guys, The gals, ( wife and daughter ) want some non-car time. What do you know about the Madcap theater and BJ's Restuarant & Brewhouse. They are close to the hotel and thought we try that Sat nite. Do they serve dinner at the Madcap and do we need reservations? thanks, Jerry

Location: The Mile High City | I haven't been to either one, Jerry. They have a really neat butterfly pavilion nearby and that is worth a visit. They have a butterfly house and several other attractions including Rosie the Tarantula. It is very close to the hotel. There are a bunch of restaurants close by too. I think there is an Old Chicago's and a Mimi's Cafe.

Elite Veteran Posts: 1107 Location: Arvada, Colorado (NW Denver Metro Area) | I have been to the Mad Cap and it does take a reservation or at least suggested. I think you can get a drink at the Mad Cap but when you make reservations check at that time. The Drury Inn is brand new, and should be great. It is within walking distance to Quaker steak and Lube restaurant. and you can walk to the BJ's roadhouse too! Also there is a Bone Fish restaurant, Macaroni grill and a Buffalo Wild Wings establishment. The closest Old Chicago restaurant is at 120th and Sheridan, with in driving distance, there is another one further up the Boulder Turnpike at the Superior exit, (South side) Mimi's restaurant is at the Flatirons exit off of the Boulder turnpike (little further west, 2 more exits then the Church Ranch Road exit. Jerry, I will still be in town on Thursday but driving to Wichita on Friday to see my Daughter, I will be back on late Sunday afternoon. When do you leave to go back to California? Thursday afternoon may be the best for me to see you again. Let me know... I will PM you my cell phone unless I gave it to you already (Fremont car show I think I gave you my card) If not I will PM you anyhow. I live 10 mins from the Drury Inn.

Location: The Mile High City | Hi, Jerry - I am really sorry the schedules didn't quite work out this time. My availability really shrank down to a small window when I got those Broncos tickets. If you ever come back to Denver, I will make sure to have a bigger window of time. I hope you survived all the traffic and had a good time. Mike
