Location: N.W. Fla. | From what it says in the Tex Smith Hemi Book you can take the spin on assembly off an LA engine & put it on the A Poly. On the hemi the "By pass plug" replaces the anti-drain back check ball, I assume that the Poly has a similar check ball. |

Location: atlanta | Yes, but mine is a 61 Poly with the old cartridge filter, does this info still apply? |

Location: little rock, AR | There is a spin-on adapter that can be used on a poly. I do not have that info but I know there is one made for the poly. Let me know when you get one because I need it for my '59 Belve. |

A plate and center nut adapter from any LA engine will work on your poly. Or you can use the later 90% adapter if you are having header clearance issues. both will accept a fram PH43 or PH8A spim on filter. First thing I do on any poly 318's I own. |
