Carburetor – Carter# 2448S – Dated – G7 – Chrysler – AFB – 4 bbl – 392 Hemi – 1957

Nice, clean core. Complete. All linkages and throttle/choke plates operate smoothly.

WCFB. Not AFB, which wasn't used until '58. And then on Plymouths and Dodges.

Thanks Ron. This IS a Carter AFB, as listed. I have also offered a WCFB listed for a 392.

I'm not clear why there was both WCFB and AFB for the same application but that is what they are shown as. This may also be correct for a 57-58 Plymouth power pack 318.

Yeah, that's odd that an AFB and WCFB were used for '57. I thought Chryslers didn't go to the AFB until '59.

Definitely a 57 application. A rare find. I found a reference to a marine application on a 318.
