Location: Northern Illinois | hi, can you use a late 60's style mopar door lock key in an original 1955 dodge door and trunk lock assemblies? is the thickness, width, and grooves the same. did some searching on the internet, couldn't find any info on it. thanks!!!!

Location: So. Cal | The newer style keys will work in the ignition fine, without issue, but they won't work in the doors. You need the older style blank to work in both. |

| Depending on where you are (Canada or US) Ian at Acme Safe Locksmiths in Victoria, BC will re key your lock and he has blanks. Ian is also a member of the WPC Club. I’m taking my door and trunk cylinders to him this week to match up to the ignition. No idea on cost yet.

Location: Northern Illinois | thanks guys for your input. i have a few of the late 60's key blanks, was hoping they would work. i have a friend that works for a dodge dealer that can re key the locks, just have to get the right key blank. |
