Extreme Veteran Posts: 354 | Having things going back together and progressing nicely but noticed a couple of oddities on the vent windows. The weatherstrip is missing on the following side of the vent window. If anyone knows what this weatherstrip looks like or where I might find it pleas let me know. OOPS, spelling mistake on th pic, it should read, can anyone TELL me.... The pin did not look good as threads were showing and the pin was rusty. I made a new pin from a 1/4"-20 SS bolt that won't rust. Expert Posts: 1207 Location: Ponder, TX | It's molded rubber without felt and is installed with adhesive. I think the part number is 614 in Gary Goers' old catalog. A company named Quirey took over his inventory and they can be reached by phone during normal hours on week days. Call and verify that number, as my info is old and might be wrong. Extreme Veteran Posts: 354 | Thanks Gary, I have looked through the old GG catalog and price list, no 614 and nothing in the catalog that resembles what is required. I have the other seal for the vent windows and have assembled minus this elusive seal. I will talk to Quirey as I have some other items coming from them this week. With the vent window assembled it would appear the seal is more of an āLā shape. I have looked a Steele and Kanter and find nothing. Any other comments appreciated. Del S

Del S Hey Del (and Gary) , Del when you looked at Steele you went through all the universal listings ? I need rubbers for the sliding side windows on a two door wagon and while not being listed I found some real close in the universal ones. (maybe)

Expert Posts: 1207 Location: Ponder, TX | I found this site that might have something that could be used. Page 11 of the Metro Rubber catalog shows some profiles that might be adapted. I can try measuring mine, but it will be hard to get a perfect number. https://www.google.com/search?q=vent+window+division+bar... Ray, I didn't see '56 Mopar parts, but there might be something you could use too. Edited by GaryS 2020-09-15 3:11 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9911 Location: Lower Mainland BC | . Del: You won't like the price but Andy Bernbaum lists the vent window gaskets: A-505 Front Vent Window Gasket $220.00 /ea. https://www.oldmoparts.com/parts-weatherstripping-dodge-1951-1959.as... And Steele has vent window gaskets for the sedans that you could modify (shorten) for your 2dr hardtop: https://www.ebay.ca/itm/1955-1956-Dodge-Plymouth-2dr-4dr-Post-Models... Extreme Veteran Posts: 354 | Success! As soon as I get the door into a position where I can take a pic I will post the results. I went to our local Home Depot to grab any kind of foam weatherstrip to use as an stop gap measure. Well....I picked up a package that had an āAā shaped weatherstrip that looked like it might work. Perfect fit, perfect look. I will have an extra 20 feet if anyone out there needs a chunk at no cost to you, just ask. Del S
