Hello All,

Seeking tire recommendation for my 56 Windsor, I currently have 7.60-15 B.F. goodrich silvertown tires on there, I want to stick with the big whitewalls, just wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations since you have given me great info in the past. Thanks

https://callitw.com/22575R15-Calli-Whitewall_p_341.html They make radials into whitewalls. Lots of other sizes.

Based on this chart, your 7.60-15s translate to a modern P225/75R15. I went 235/75/15 on my 56 Dodge D500. That is too big (a few rubbing issues). I should have gone 225 or 215. (So be aware)

I can recommend Kontio WhitePaw Classic radials.

They are designed in Finland by enthusiasts and ride very well and smoothly. I've driven these for several years and they are way better than Cokers I had before.

These are real whitewalls, not laminated over regular tires like Calli whitewalls.

Their website can be found at https://kontiotyres.com/whitepaw-classic/ ..and they have local dealers all over the world.

I made the same size conversion to 225/75R15 for my 56 CRL. I bought Coker Classics 2.75 whitewalls. She rides great and tracks true but the fronts rub on the driveway unless I go real slow. The rears rub when she leans on turns. Should have bought the 215's since the back-space on the wire wheels leaves plenty of room to move inward. I have not worked up enough nerve to try to massage the rear inner fender wells for more clearance.
