Location: STL, MO | Anyone know if the exhaust manifolds for the short ram motors are all the same, 60-64? So if so 300J manifolds would fit my G. And just out of curiousity did they ever make a low deck shortram? |

Location: Alaska | If you are talking about the short/long rams as used on the 300J, they fit just fine on a low deck but to my knowledge, the factory never built any. |

Location: STL, MO | I was asking if the exhaust manifolds are the same from 60-64. I think there might be some minor detail differences but will the manifolds from a 63 fit the 61? |

Location: Alaska | All the big blocks and raised big blocks use the same exhaust bolt pattern from 58 to end of production in the late 70s with two exceptions, I believe the max wedges of 62-64 had bigger ports and some HD truck 413s had a different bolt pattern. I am not sure if the 64 300J had a different shape than other ram cars but they will fit any big block. Many people use the exhaust manifolds from the magnum engines of the late 60s because they have better flow but if you are running a ram manifold you should get the manifolds that are made for them because they have the extra tubes to heat the intakes.
I have run a ram manifold on a 383 without them but it is a little temperamental until it warms up. |

Location: NorCal | FWIW, the Hollander Interchange shows the '60-'61 left manifold different than the '62-'64. |

Location: Under the X in Texas | '60-62 short ram headers have no side pickup attachment area for a heat elbow up to the intake manifold because those cars are all water heated intakes.
'63-64 short ram headers do have this pickup point because the intakes are exhaust heated. |
