I'm interested as to why the driver side front bumper has three studs on it but the passenger side does not. Are those where the optional 'teeth' are attached??? The Coronets and Royals normally didn't get the teeth (aka "Spuds") whereas the Custom royals did. I would imagine that there was a minor(ish) fender bender of some nature that killed the left front bumper and all the owner at the time could find was a Custom Royal bumper bit so they took the teeth off of it and installed the chrome bumper bolts where the spuds would have been attached.  1958 Dodge parts diagram to show the term "spud" Edited by 56D500boy 2018-03-01 3:57 PM | ||
