What you are looking for (I think) is a 1732 990 cap for the 1733 976 Thompson PS pump. No hits on 1732990 via eBay search but this 1945461 looks close: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-MOPAR-1958-9-POWER-STEERING-PUMP-CAP-MO... Expert Posts: 2196 Location: Muskego, WI | I have rebuild these pumps, what a pain. The "plunger and blocks" arrangement is pretty difficult to get back together, but I found that if I coat the plungers with grease that they'll be "sticky" enough to hold their position while I arrange them and reassemble the "body" and "cap" (as named in the diagram above). | ||
