Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | Hi I have a friend looking for a transmission selector cable for his 57 Imperial Crown with 392 and Torqueflite. Part 1734-227 (I think). Same for 57/58 Imperial, 57/58 Chrysler.
He's also looking for the driveshaft in the distributor for the same car. Part 1818-665 for the distributor marked IBK-4304/Part 1689-325. (I think).
Any leads nos or used, appreciated to help this 80 year old guy get his car back on the road where it belongs.
Cheers,
Glenn. |

.
Only the 57 (IM) and 59 (LY1) Imperials used the 1734 227 cable.
The rest of the 57-58 Plymouths, Dodges, Desotos and Chryslers with Torqueflites used the 1734 228 cable.
There is probably a length issue.
Mopar Mall claims to have them in stock:

Location: Auckland, New Zealand. | Thanks I have emailed Moparmall waiting to hear back. Has anyone dealt with them before I’ve never heard of them.
Imperial Services emails get bounced back.

Location: Under the X in Texas | Where I have noted them, they were all the same (high) price so anyplace with them is a source. Think the last time I bought one it was from Collector's Auto Supply in Washington ( https://collectorsautosupply.com/ ) |
