I think it's cool. Rare to find a vintage camper in that condition; it doesn't look very comfortable however.

I would be interested in the camper for my stepside truck if someone wants the Fury.

Hi
That combo could have an interesting history if it was one of the NHRA "Safety Safari" Cars as per the front fender signage......

Somebody was sleeping that day in class when they were discussing aerodynamics. *BUT* they were paying attention that day when light strong materials were being discussed in Strength of Materials. Camper only weighed 270 lbs delivered (after the crate was removed)

I doubt the camper would fit well in a pickup, even a stepside. It looks to be made to fit solely sedans, from the trunk.
I'm not that familiar with these, but looking at the brochures with the auction this appears to be the case.

It would be a waste of space in a pickup unless you wanted to still use your bed. Pickup campers normally slide into the bed and utilize all that space for more room in the camper! This one is for cars only it appears. Basically your trunk becomes the "bed." Though it seems that you're supposed to remove the trunk lid and bolt this camper to the hinges and use that cover to seal off the trunk. I wonder if there's a door in the floor so you can access your trunk. There would be a lot of unused space in the trunk.

This car appears to still have a trunk lid however? I wonder if the lid was cut for the camper to fit through? Hopefully theres a seal there! Where do you put your spare tire and jack??

That is pretty neat, nice shape inside the camper. Wherever you go you would have the only one.
