Yep. But it's still a nice convertible for 23k$ CDN, which is about 15k$ US, OBO. To me, changing the motor back to a V8 seems pretty easy compared to finding another FL convertible in that condition for that price.

It could be possible that a Canadian market car was built with a six. Just guessing.

For some reason I believe Canadian built MoPars had 6 cyllinder engines available in a variety of models that US models weren't. I think I remember there being 6 cylinder DeSotos too in year models upward and including '55s. There may have been taxis built with 6 cylinder engines specific for taxi fleets????? I may be wrong but it just seems I've seen or read things like that.

Yes. I remember looking at a 60 Plymouth wagon that was for sale in Ontario and it also had the slant 6 from the factory.
