I've been looking for one of these for over five years. I've wanted to display this plate on the front of my car because it was originally sold in Spokane, Washington. This was my prized find at the Hershey swap meet this year. Both the plate, and apparently my Plymouth will need a little bit of detailing, but here it is.

I had to take that last pic at an angle, so no, it's not as ****eyed as it looks in the photo

Doc..... if you see this, any idea what county its from?

That is a truck or trailer plate and not issued for cars.

A car plate would have had a configuration like: BCG 496

Contact this guy for a proper set for your car:

The three letters followed by three numbers started the next year in 1958.

WA passenger plates in 1957 were 2 numbers followed by a dash and three more numbers, followed by a letter designating the county.

The county designation by letter was in order of county population. King County, Seattle being most populous was "A", Spokane County being a "C".

You are looking for a plate that has white lettering, dark green background, and "##-### C"

Good luck with your search.

A couple more good sources:
Hannah's Vintage Plates
360-866-0478
jhprostreet@aol.com

Oly Plate Lady
OlyPlateLady@gmail.com

Both are in Olympia WA. I have purchased from both. Got this one NOS, never on a car before, from Hannah's. Yeah, I know it's not technically correct but couldn't pass it up and DMV didn't care.
