Location: McComb, Mississippi | Since I have my 63 imperial mechanically sound, I'm trying to get the cabin leak free. I'm getting a leak from under the dash, particularly around the center. I've taken the trim off and sealed the windshield area. The car has air conditioning as well. I removed the cowl vent and there is no rust or holes. The wiper pivots are sealed as well. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can't tell where it's coming from. Thanks |

Location: Kansas City, KS | Is it rain water or engine coolant? How much water are you getting and when?
If it's water from the engine, check the obvious heater core and control valve.
Is your AC functioning and in use? Is the condensation from the evaporator dripping inside the car?
If it's rainwater, take it to the car wash and have 1 person look under the dash with a flashlight while a 2nd person sprays the windshield, cowl, and firewall. |

Location: McComb, Mississippi | Hi, yes it's just rain water. I just pinpointed the leak. Its coming from the air conditioning plenum door. Looks like I'll have to pull the evaporator housing.
