Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | This is the carb that came on my car when I bought it 10 years ago. I believe the #2922S is correct for 1960 Plymouth and Dodge? I found 2 NOS ones, and I don't need 3 carbs. After running it for a few years, I took it apart, cleaned the inside and replaced the gaskets, check balls, needle & seat, checked float settings, new plunger.
While it was apart, I took the throttle plate to my friends machine shop and he installed new shaft bushings. It was running fine when I took it off a few years ago. It had only a few 1000 miles on it before I found my first NOS carb and pulled it off.
I took it apart before I stored it and put lite grease on the seals & plunger so they would not shrink. I never really spent any time cleaning the out side and could probably use a good cleaning but it can be bolted on and run as is.
I would like to trade it for 3 decent U.S. SILVER dollars or $4 face value of any combination of U.S. silver coins minted pre 1965.
Please ask questions and HAVE A GREAT DAY!
Karl.
