Expert 5K+ Posts: 8444 Location: Perth Australia | The guys pretty much giving this away, he is asking $15000 (AU) for this, but he was also asking for stuff to try and get it road legal again. I think the engine alone would have to be pretty close to his asking price (hemi) Contact me if you want me to hook you up (14067470_1646981055615555_4722604805983814440_n.jpg) Attachments ---------------- 14067470_1646981055615555_4722604805983814440_n.jpg (94KB - 243 downloads)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8444 Location: Perth Australia | Nope, it never sold, this guy has some seriously cool cars, most up on racks I havnt seen this car personally, but I have seen lots of pictures of it, I would be looking at this if I had the money (except he has another car I want much more, but I dont have the money for that either) But anyone seriously wants this, I will look at it and photo it (then you know its actually there )

No not legal.. Even "some" bonnet scoops are illegal. We can have air cleaners sticking out of the bonnet but have to be under a scoop.. Some people do drive with superchargers and some rams hanging out the bonnet and some police don't worry about it. I guess it depends on the individual policeman. They can pull you over and send your car for an inspection etc. Some States here, you have to get your car checked every year for registration. However this car would need the bonnet back on but height of that ram would never have a policeman turn a blind eye.. It would also need the front bumper put back on and the tank on the front removed.. I'm not even sure if the gasser cars would be legal unless heavily engineered and approved.. Expert 5K+ Posts: 8444 Location: Perth Australia | Not a chance in hell especially here in WA (nanny state) I think it would need another car to get it road legal, just the frame cuts for the suspension would keep it off the road. I do wonder though if an engineer has inspected it (In Aus, if a vehicle has been altered in any semi major way, it must be checked by a registered (with the vehicle licensing people) engineer and can be issued with a certificate that allows it to be licensed) On this thing, I dont think it would stand a chance, but you never know Just as an aside, If you have your car modified and engineer checked in one state, that does not mean that it can be licensed in any state, each state will want its own engineers report for licensing. You have to be careful what you buy interstate here Some states are more lenient on things than others, but no state is lenient enough to allow those rams

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8444 Location: Perth Australia | I dont think so, but he did advertise the engine (I think that was what the 15G ask was for, not the whole car) Pretty sure its still in one piece, but he has a chopped and blown 57 that he has pulled apart, so he is not shy to sell parts of a car Send me an email if you want me to get him in contact with you, my email is my user name at hotmail.com
