Didn't get an answer to this question in the Trans and Rear Axle section so might try here......??


Would a dipstick and tube for a Powerflite be the same as dipstick and tube for an iron Torqueflite ?

I know the pans are different, can't see any reason the tubes and dipsticks would be though ??

Does anyone know?

Location: Georgetown Texas		Seems like the torque flight is bigger and the length would be different.

Thanks Ryan, I have neither Torqueflite nor Powerflite to go by nor even can I find photos of both either separate or together anywhere to see what differences there are.

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island		The parts books proves that there are a few different types for both the PowerFlite and for the TorqueFlite, hence, they don't interchange.

Check with Big-M, John can surely help you out....

I am parting out a 58 Coronet with a powerflight trans, let me know if you need a dipstick tube.
