Didn't get an answer to this question in the Trans and Rear Axle section so might try here......??

Would a dipstick and tube for a Powerflite be the same as dipstick and tube for an iron Torqueflite ?

I know the pans are different, can't see any reason the tubes and dipsticks would be though ??

Does anyone know?

Cheers for help,

Terry.

Seems like the torque flight is bigger and the length would be different.

Thanks Ryan, I have neither Torqueflite nor Powerflite to go by nor even can I find photos of both either separate or together anywhere to see what differences there are.

The parts books proves that there are a few different types for both the PowerFlite and for the TorqueFlite, hence, they don't interchange.

Check with Big-M, John can surely help you out....

I am parting out a 58 Coronet with a powerflight trans, let me know if you need a dipstick tube.
