Board Moderator & Exner Expert 10K+ Posts: 13057 Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | The tires will fit - I run 225/75/15 radials and they're big ones - no issues whatsoever. The roadability will be adventurous and exciting Don't go for bias-ply if you want do do longer roadtrips on roads lesser than excellent. As for looks, of course the bias-ply is the most beautiful choise

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8948 Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | if you've never used bias ply , i'd suggest not . the road feel of bias versus radial is like a model t to a hell cat . two different worlds of feel and stability . i grew up using bias ply , then radial came along , what a difference ----------------------------------------------later

Extreme Veteran Posts: 531 Location: Park Hills, KY | I have 8.50-14's on there now....they are Sears AllState models which my father-in-law gave me. I am used to the bias ply and prefer the look. Will I need different rims though???? I currently have the original stock ones. If these wont fit on the stock , which are six inches, I think, I will have to go with another size. Thanks in advance for the input... CM Edited by Cmangeot 2016-03-04 3:34 PM

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8948 Location: WHEELING,WV.>>>HOME OF WWVA | i'd put em on and not think about em , since thats the style you prefer . back in the day we used all sorts of sizes on stock rims across the board . never heard of or saw a problem except for rubbing outside when they got tooooo wide--------------------------------------------later
