Subject: 1955 Plymouth Brake Adjustment

Does anyone have any tips on how to adjust the front brakes on a stock 1955 Plymouth Belvedere. I have the 1955 1956 Plymouth Manual and it shows the adjustment with special tools that I do not have, so was wondering if anyone has a way to adjust without the special tool.
