MoPar Offenhauser Aluminum Dual Quad Air Cleaner Housings Carter AFB

Vintage Offenhauser oval air cleaner housings. These have the smaller 4-1/4ish size openings and will not fit the modern Weber / Edelbrock versions of the Carter AFB or AVS carbs as their openings are 5-1/8. These are heavy cast aluminum, likely made in the 1960's or 1970's for inline factory dual quad engines when aftermarket chrome items were popular from companies such as offy, moon, Cal Custom and more. Could have been on polysphere 318 or inline 354 or 392 Hemi engines in Belvedere or Chrysler 300 letter cars with inline 392 or 413 engines. These have decals for a 426 on them and some gold paint in the center that looks to be the gold used on the Golden Commando engines. 383 inline? I don't know. I've never seen another pair of these. Take the home, polish them and score some extra points at the next car show.

=======================================

That sounds about as repulsive as suggesting to the buyer to go to the bus station and
have sex with other men in the bathroom.

Oh yay ! Extra points ! Maybe get a plastic trophy ???
