Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | V4 - might be Solex shaded windshield - can you confirm?
X3 - very unsure, does the car have Variable Speed Windshield Wipers?
Nisse, that's affirmative for the K3 (283) and Y8 (588)! |

Actually the 5109 means it is the 109th Dodge Polara scheduled to be built that day, March 16, 1961.
Dodge Polaras were built at the East Jefferson plant where all 1961 Dodge Polara, DeSoto and Chrysler models were built in the U.S. The 5 meant the car was a Dodge Polara while a 4 would mean the car was a DeSoto.
1961 Imperials were built at the West Warren Avenue plant until late May, 1961, when production was moved to East Jefferson.

March is closer to mid model year than early. The 1961 models went into production in August, 1960, and the last were built in July, 1961.
