Today I finished cleaning, painting and detailing the shifter buttons. For painting I used an extra fine point pen w/ oil base paint. The pen fits well in the large letters but the "start" letters I had to kinda flood the depressions with paint. Then after it set for 10 mins I rubbed the face one pass across a laquer thinner dampened paper towel that was flat on a smooth flat surface, avoiding excess contact with the thinner as it can damage the black finish. I changed the burnt out bulb behind the assembly too (didn't know I had one). Lights up the N/start just swell.
