Dear Forward Look:

I'm wondering if there's a restoration service out there that will "turn-key" the restoration of the wing windows for my 59 Dodge Lancer? I don't have the expertise or knowledge to perfrom this so I'm hoping I can find a good source who's had a lot experience.

Thanks!

Good luck with this; I don't know of anyone doing this service. The window rubber is not available. And the window assemble needs to be completely disassembled to have the re-chroming and polishing done. The correct rivets, to put it back together, are happily available. I have done some work on the ones on my 4 door. It isn't easy, but it is do-able for the inexperienced restorer. It's mainly finding all the parts before you start...
