| You make them yourself beating 20 gauge sheet-metal to approximate the old one. (I kid you not.) If you had a Chevy it would be a catalog item for $5 from a dozen good suppliers.

Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | I bought a set of them from the fellow on eBay. They are pricey, but very good quality, and correct! Well worth the money if you are doing a complete restoration. If you are just trying to replace a section of one brace, you are probably best to use (buy, beg, borrow, rent) a box and pan brake, metal shear, and body hammers/dollies to make a repair section. |

Location: Hayward, Calif | Find a local Fab shop and have him form it for you. It will come out a lot nicer and save yourself a lot of frustration. I had a local Fab shop form all my lower inner and outer rockers, floor panels and trunk floor. Then trim it to fit. If you can find a small shop, owner operated, you will get personalized service and I found it not very expensive. And if need be he can tweek it a little more for you. I bought a 4' x 10' sheet of 18 ga from a metal supplier. I can send you some pics if you want. Jerry |
