I'd hoped I could find the brake shoes at the stores based on application but I was wrong.

Can anyone give me the part numbers for the front and rear shoes or maybe an interchange to a more modern mopar that used the same shoes and will show up in their catalogs?

Thanks,

Wayne

Hey, Wayne...

Are you looking for the 'wagon' 12" x 2 1/2" brake (assemblies), or do you have brake shoe assemblies that need new
brake linings that can be bonded-onto them???

Do you have the correct brake backing plates for your car?

Do you have the station wagon master cylinder (think that their mechanisms may be unique to them; dunno..)

Here are 12" brake parts/assemblies:

And, here are 11" brake parts/assemblies..

I honestly don't know what size brakes are on the car. I want to replace the shoes, metal and all. No bonding etc.

I've already got the master cylinder.

I'm hoping someone here has a catalog or is able to look up what brakes went on the surburban.

While I have it on the hoist I have to do everything at once. The hoist is how I make my living and can't by tied up a few days while parts come in. I have to have everything before I start. Regardless of how long it takes to get the stuff.

With my back I don't do anything on the floor anymore unless it's an emergency. I'd hate to put the car on the hoist just to measure the brakes but if it's absolutely necessary, I will.

Thanks,

Wayne
