I've had a few Chevy Sedan Deliveries and seeing the 1 piece rear door made me wonder, did MOPAR ever build a Sedan Delivery?
Someone on this forum has or had a Rambler wagon. Would you know about this, there is a 1967-70[?] Rambler wagon in town with no rear side widows. Could that be factory or just home made?

A couple of things about this car

I noticed the exhaust deflectors, so, those funny looking reproduction ones that keep comming up in my ebay searches are actually "period correct"
Fair enough

Second thing, that has to be the coolest rear opening setup I have seen on a wagon, I would love to see it in person

Cool car

Here are four photos from the public Archives de la ville de Montreal.

These are from the introduction of public ambulance service in Montreal, from what I gather.
These are staged (not an actual emergency event) from 1959, featuring a fleet of 1959 Plodges.

Those Montreal shots are great, thanks for posting!

Notice the 15" wheels and (what looks like) 56 Plymouth hubcaps!

Also notice the handwritten note on the top photo. He was driving the ambulance the night when news of Sputnik was launched by the Russians! For anybody who was around and can actually remember that far back, Sputnik was a big threat to American interests. We were in a cold war and Kruschev, while pounding his shoe on the UN lectern, had declared "We will bury you!". Fortunately, America rallied and our space program prevailed. Exner's designs promoted America's enthusiasm for space travel beautifully.

I wonder what the deal with the '56 Plymouth caps are? I guess there were plenty left in stock to just pull some out of the inventory... But I wonder how one went about that.

A few more ambulances.

First is a 1960 Dodge Memphis which served Molokai, Hawaii back in the day.

Next is a 1959 Chrysler Memphis, which served Haworth, NJ.

Last is a 1961 Plymouth, photo is dated 1966. Note the mismatched whitewalls and the extra torpedo taillights mounted on the
rear of the roof. 1961 Plymouth taillights were commonly used by ambulance manufacturers as roof beacons during the early 1960s.
