Subject: 413 Temperature sending unit

Location: Sacramento		I am rebuilding my 61 Imp 413 and wondering if I can relocate the temperature sending unit. Of course my car has AC and as we all know the temp sending unit is impossible to reach under the compressor.
Is there a good place to drill a hole in the water pump housing that is just as effective and accurate?
