Over on another thread, LD3Greg posted a reply-message (SOMEWHERE...and, IIRC) about the factory's

installation  of sway bar brackets (and/ or their exclusion from various chassis-frames.

Anyway, first are two representative photos showing a 1957 Coronet CONVERIBLE frame, which was built

HAVING the sway bar brackets on it, even though ALL Coronets (including the verts) did NOT have OEM sway installed bars on them.

Next, there are a couple shots of a normally installed sway bar system.

Then, there are three photos of an OEM 1957 Dodge frame that was built with sway bar brackets on it, but the car was (obviously) NOT built having the sway bars installed  on it.

Lastly, there is a photo of a 1958 Dodge frame that was NOT built with any sway bar brackets installed on it.

NOTE the OEM slots that exist in the 1957(+) frames which WERE created to accept the mounting
'ears' of the sway bar brackets; the sway bar 'ears' merely slotted-into the frames, where they got welded to the frames
(in 1957+)....with the resulting perfect/easy installation-alignment of the sway bars to the frames.

anyone got the exact measurements of a 57-58 and or a 59 sway bar . i have a nos one that i think is a 58 but i'm not sure as i have
nothing to compare it's measurements to . i would need length of arms , spread of arms and centerline from tips of the arms to
the front , along with spread of the front links/struts ----------------------------------------------later

Chuck, my parts are 57 Dodge not Chrysler. Too lazy to check part #s (which don't necessarily tell the whole story anyway). Do you still want my measurements?

There, I rotated it for you. 58 frame you say??! I wish I could have found a decent 58 frame with lanced slots for a sway bar when I needed one!!!

Well, let's see how this unfolds!!

I thought I had rotated that pic. Obviously not.

Anyway, here are the locating "ears" on the brackets.
