Kool looking; but the 59 PLY V/8 was a 318 engine....I forget its OEM c.r. or its camshaft specs (or its distributor curving)...so, that 'motor' may be nicely mechanically built up, over its OEM specs,
or, it may just be sporting too rich-running carburetion eye-candy on it.
