Hi all

I bought this manifold a while ago (poly intake 1619826), but not really sure what its off.

It is a 4 barrel, but the base is really small

Anyone know what its off and/or what carby fits it?

The base is way to small for an edelbrock carby

Cheers

Thanks Chuck

I am selling it over here as I dont think I will use it

A bit pricey to send back to the US though as with what it cost me to buy it and get it here, by the time it went back, it would be close to a grand

You are correct sir. It was designed for use with a Carter WCFB carb.

That's going the wrong way, putting a small base WCFB on a large base intake. He needs to put a large carb on the small base. Must be they used a smaller base carb on these, the Edelbrocks fit nicely on the Chrysler hemi intakes if the bore holes are opened up.

No, its going the right way

Putting a larger based asv onto where there was a WCFB carb

The manifold base sise is only 3 7/8 x 3 1/2, so even opening the bores will not let an asv (or holley) square bore carb fit.

The 58 2x4 manifolds I have, both have the larger mounting bases and with grinding out the bores, an asv will fit, but I put adaptors on mine.

There is a 4 barrel manifold on ebay now (think its safety mike's?) that is the later type with the larger carb mounting flange
