Location: North Australia | You cracked me up Fenix, but you are probably right. Mick has been looking for some of this stuff for a while, along with a lot more blokes I suppose. I am not sure someone from Perth could handle the Big block with sonoramic induction though Steve.

Expert Posts: 2120 Location: atlanta | LOL, I hear the OZ gov is proposing a two barrel maximum on any street driven car, particularly older cars and specifically old blue Dodges from 1960 to 1961.

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8445 Location: Perth Australia | You are correct Just not 100% on the details yet, its either 2 barrels or 2 carbies, cant remember which, so I went 2 carbies on the dodge, but that engine would be slated for plymouth duty I do have some concerns with this engine though, it has (what appears to be) a rust hole in the valley cover and a very "I have been sitting in the rain for years" look about it Also, missing exhaust manifolds is not good as they are (or seem to be) more expencive than the rams themselves My thoughts have recently turned toward the plymouth a bit, still un decided about it, may still sell it yet So just watching this engine, if it dont go much higher, I will give it a shot then worry about how to get it here The seller is a wrecker (I think), pretty sure I have seen him selling cars of poorer quality before?

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8445 Location: Perth Australia | The natives are getting wrestless Its developed some bidders in the last few hours Still a day to go and its at just over a grand (that was my budget anyway, I know cheap, but all I could have spent for that one)

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8445 Location: Perth Australia | I dont understand? Its a whole 25 bucks more than a grand now You could add 5 to 600 to get it here easily though, and I am not totally certain what I am going to do with the car, might be better off trying to find a car thats already got it all

Expert 5K+ Posts: 8445 Location: Perth Australia | Not sure its being flipped, still in the same place with the same description I recon either the person that bought it got there and said "hell no" or it was a friend bidding for him, trying to bump the price up. I think he would be better off selling the rams by themselves and offering the engine as a "you can have this as well" type of thing It really looks like its just sat outside in the weather for years, so I dont think any of the internals will be useful and I do wonder about the condition of the rams But anyway, I am not a buyer for it, so I shouldnt pick on it Good luck to the seller, still think it would be worth seeing in case all my picture speculation is wrong
