The wipers stopped working on my 59 Imperial. What should I be looking for? Is there a fuse? How can I tell if it's the switch or the motor? Thanks.

There is no fuse. The wipers are protected by an auto reset circuit breaker. I would guess it is the motor or the switch or perhaps the wiring itself. In that order.

If there are a binding issue, then the circuit breaker will open the circuit, close it again and the sequence will be repeating. You should hear the clicking from the circuit breaker.
Most probably you have a motor issue and perhaps the brushes are worn down too much.
