I was at Benny's the other day, and by request he wanted me to make a note that he MAY be getting in a few 57/58 Plymouth convertibles. But the deal isn't totally sealed yet though.

Member Posts: 8 | I'm Benny Buckner's nephew and I am going to help Benny out with trying to get some of his cars on the Internet. I just created him a temporary page http://bennybuckner.com until I get more info out there. Anyway, I did want to let everyone know that he recently picked up 3 58 Plymouth convertibles to restore. He has been working on one now for about 6 months. He has all the metal welded in and is on the rotisserie now. Contact him if you have a interest in a 58 convertible.

Member Posts: 8 | I just got benny's site http://bennybuckner.com up and running. I listed 13 vehicles there for sale with some pictures. Check it out. It also has some video of his parts cars in the fields. Here is the link right to the ads. http://bennybuckner.com/awpcp/browse-ads/ Edited by Silverbullet07 2014-02-27 3:39 PM

Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | That is of course not a '58 Plymouth Sport Fury convertible on that pic, but a 1959 modelyear. And if possible, I would very much like to know what parts are good and available on the '60 DeSoto Adventurer. old fart Edited by oldefar 2014-02-27 7:27 PM

Member Posts: 8 | Thanks. That is the one that is being restored. It is about ready for paint now. They did a good job. He does have two more that he has not started. Call or email him with questions. He is not a computer guy so he would rather talk.

Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | Thanks for the tips. But it isn't allways that easy to call overseas from Norway. Not because of any problem with connections, but a lot of times I have experienced that people over at "your place" do not take the phone when I'm calling from this side of the world. And a lot of dealers don't want to deal with people outside the U.S. If they have the same experience with scammers as I have, I can very well understand them. I guess I'll try to send him an e-mail. A friend of mine, who does not have a pc, asked me to check out a couple of '59 Dodges on mr. Bruckner's property. I couldn't find any, so if any of you guys on here have seen them, could you please let me know. Thanks. old fart

Member Posts: 8 | Benny said "I have a 59 dodge coronet 2 Dr ht which needs total restoration. A 59 dodge is one of the hardest cars to find. I have a good title. I am not antious to sell, but I would take $6500 for the car.has normal floor and lower rust out." Edited by Silverbullet07 2014-03-03 8:29 PM

Elite Veteran Posts: 708 Location: Fredrikstad, Norway. (Europe) | Thank you very much for your info Silverbullet07. It's very much appreciated. But my friend allready have a '59 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 2 door hard-top, so what he needs is just the parts for his restoration. Especially the moulding at the front end of the front fender above the headlights. Needs some more to, but I can't remember what right now. If Benny got a '59 parts car, that would be the best. If you could find out what parts and prices are available on the '60 DeSoto Adventurer too, I would be really happy. Perhaps he could post a picture of the car on here or on his website. That would be real nice. Again, thank you very much for your time and effort. old fart. Edited by oldefar 2014-03-05 8:28 PM
