It's the needle bearing of the upper bearing of the front suspension of e.g. my 56 Chrysler New Yorker. This needle bearing wsa used even in a 1936 De Soto and many other ChryCo cars until about 1956.

Do you know a replacement needle bearing or a reliable source? I'll appreciate your answer very much. Thank you

Dieter

Thank you very much Wizard for your very careful work. Wizard did a superb job and managed to save the orignal bearings. With the new king pins there is a thight fit with the existing bearings. I'm happy that the kin pin is softer than the bearing. So with no grease the bearing saves and eats up the surface of the kin pin. These are much easier to get.

Take care my friend,

Dieter
