I'm new to this site as a member, tho I've enjoied it greatly for a few years now, helped restore and have owned a few FL cars,a 56 Fireflite,56 Windsor and a 59 Imperial, all decent survivors and drove them daily, I love em' got asked many times why I chose to drive an old car and always replied, they were an every day car back then so why not now?

I drove my cars from FLA to PA and NH many times back in the 1990's and my Imperial out to school in Ok,it was fun driving something with class and blasting some Sinatra or Doo wop along the way,got a lot of odd looks too but who cares,I drive what I like because I like it,not to impress anyone, now my two young children know and love these great automobiles of the past.

I just bought a fairly origional, unmolested 60 Desoto Fireflite 4dr hdtp, overall it's in great shape,I'm looking for some parts or leads, the arm rest pads are split and the dash pad is wrinkled pretty bad,not cracked but ugly, also looking for a clock, working or not? The delete is not very pretty in the center of the inst' pannel.

What is the vent/heater system layout like on these cars? Looks like it has two heater cores and one is bypassed near the upper pass side of the heater box,any sources for these?

I'll upload some pic's soon if interested? Looking forward to getting our new toy on the road before the fall.

Hi Randy, welcome to the FL Forum. You actually posted this message on the wrong area, this one is for discussing vendors, you should move this to general discussion. Looking forward to some pics and discussion there.
