Location: Branson, MO | Thanks for the info. It's definitely best to not use ethanol laced gasoline if at all possible in any car made prior to the very early 80s or late 70s. It's about this time that fuel pump diaphragms and rubber hoses were used that withstand degradation of the rubber from ethanol.

Location: York County, PA | I use it on my older cars but the newer cars with fuel injection and carborators, I use midgrade gas.

The only thing in my area is $9 a gallon racing fuel so I'm using the ethanol treatment. |

Location: Fairfax, Minnesota | The strange thing that I see in my area- non ethanol gas is a lower octane rating than some of the ethonal based gas. I realize that ethanol rases the rating, but it just seems strange to me - pay more for a lower rating. |
