Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | Hello. I just found a 1960 Plymouth Savoy in a barn in northern Pa. with current Pa inspection. It has 71,000, 6 cyl, 3 spd., 4 door, a pale greenish blue, nice interior with good full rubber floor mats, no apparent rust throughs in floor or trunk, runs and drive OK, with no options. A very basic bussinessmans car. Just curious what might be a reasonable offer, give or take a few hundred? The sheet metal is nice and I have a 60 Suburban, might it be worth it to buy for parts or? Thanks for your time and any thoughts, Karl.
P.S. I am going to look at a 65 Chryler Newport wagon. "western car, no rust, needs brake work, $900". I really don't have a clue about MOPARS and particularly non-muscle cars and would like to know if this car might be worth anything and are any of the mechanics interchangable to a 60 Plymouth? |

Location: Hell's Outhouse - a.k.a. Buckeye, Arizona | $1,500 - $2,500 as it sounds.
We all could use pics to get a better feel on what we're guesstimating on, though..... |

Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | Hello. Unfortunately, I found it last weekend while I was way out in the sticks fishing and just saw the nose sticking out of a barn. I saw an older gentelman working by the barn and walked up. He said he was retired and that he was ready to sell. Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera and had to head home and it is 6 hours from home. I told him I would get back to him shortly but couldn't be back up there for a couple of weeks. I am looking for a real rough guesstimate. I recently bought my first MOPAR in 36 years and as I buy all my older cars, on impulse[a 1960 Ply Suburban with 70,000] and am a true "impluse" buyer but this car is ugly to me and doesn't turn me on enough to simply, so I need to know if it has any value, if so, roughly how much? Even as a complete low milage driver, it has little value to me but can it have resale enough to purchase it? I know it is tough to guess but I honestly don't have a clue if it is worth much of anything and would really appreciate your roughest guess.
Thanks again, Karl. |

| This may be just worth the parts, seems to be a stripper four-door that was used and put away.
Michigan salt will not be kind to the sheet metal.
