Vehicle Description

Up for sale is a 1960 Desoto Adventurer 2 dr coupe for restoration.This is a running driving car which is currently licensed and registered.It has a strong running original 383 ci engine,with the original,smooth shifting, torqueflite automatic transmission.The front brakes have been rebuilt.This car is mostly complete and deserves to be restored.It does not appear to have ever been any accidents.It has had one amateur black paint job over the top of the original.Car was originally an aqua/teal color.You can see in the photo's the original aqua paint under the black.The interior is gray/black,and white, with the swivel front seat option.Original interior is aged and weathered and will need restored.It has nice original tinted glass,power steering,power brakes,working am radio,.and dual rear antenna's.The body on the car is fairly solid for its age, but will need both front floor pans and the trunk floor either repaired or replaced.The left front fender has a crease in it and rust through at the bottom(see photo's).The rear trunk weather strip channel has some rust through which will need repaired,(common problem with these cars).Some of the pot metal trim is pitted but most of the stainless trim is decent and usable.I have a pair of NOS backup light lenses for the rear (see photo's).The 4 original hubcaps pictured, are in the trunk.The car is sold as is with no warranties.I have tried to describe the car the best I can.If you have any questions,ask before bidding.You are welcome to come look at the car in person if you wish.Car is located in ST.Louis, Missouri. 63109. Car should be trailered or towed due to its age.Will help with loading the car and possible shipping arrangements.Thanks and Good Luck Bidding
