I have this 59 plymouth that I traded some guy for one of my cars but i was going to fix up and convert the brakes but the car is to big for me so if anybody is interested in a trade for a smaller good working car in the Texas dallas/ft worth area let me know.

Car runs good just needs a newer master cylinder and headliner.

Ill for sure want to look the Belvedere over. And I know youll wanna look at the Barracuda too. Ill give you a little run down on her. Shes a matching #s 1964 Barracuda with 273. Runs and drives nice. Shes my daily. Has an Offenhauser tunnelram, with edelbroke ... HAHA carb. Valiant hood because of the hole. M/T valve covers and surf scoop. I have the original manifold, valve covers, and hood + a butt load of extras.

Lance ,try and not go to "Dallas" during their Gala day as there will be well over 200 folks there, really overcroded conditions for an American.Nice Barracuda you've got there,a 1965 Barracuda was the first car I ever bought when I was 13 years old for the huge sum of £5 (about $10).

I'll double the price you paid for it if you will sell it to me Mark (lol). I once had a '65 Barracuda too. I had been looking for one for a long time, because I really like those early Barracudas very much. But because of a stupid woman (or perhaps me being stupid taking her on) and some financial problems because of her, I had to sell it off almost immediately.

Yea my lil 64 has been good to me for sure. Shes a great car and I have boxes of extra parts, and interior. Plus the original hood and engine parts. Nothing has been done to her that cant be undone. Minus the 16 Gal fuel cell in the rear. I sure wish Summy would get back to me on the 59 though. I love the big bodies. I realy wanted a 57 - 58 but a 59 will do me just fine. I just have to have something with a roof that I can drive year round. Because my little 1921 Dodge Roadster is a little bit open .....HAHAHA

Well Einar, since I'm pretty generous you can have it for nothing(if it's still sitting there)because when I got back and told my parents what i'd bought with my pocket money you can guess what happened, that was the last time I saw it,nice gold metallic with matching interior registration number COW 65C i think...

If you tried the same thing with the Barracuda vedette, it may be hard to find, ai ? But do you know what really happened to it tho' ?

Oh, don't we all love those HEMIs TD. Look like a nice project you got going there. Sure happy you use a Dodge body instead of the regular Ford. What Dodge do the HEMI come from, and how many cubes ?

BHWINCH, I'm not sure about the mileage between the 2 Dallases, beacaus I haven't driven that distance yet. But I drove one of my '60 Adventurers from Birdsboro, PA where I bought it with 68K miles on it to Savannah, GA where I shipped it home in 1982. I drove it down there overnight, but don't remeber exacly the miles and the hours. In 2002 I rode the Grayhound buss from Chicago, IL to Dallas TX just for fun. I also rode the Grayhound from Tacoma WA to Washington DC just for fun. Last ride took 3 1/2 days. Also rode the train from Vancouver, BC to Los Angeles CA. The only thing left with a buss or train now is crossing the states down south, like from Texas to California. Apart from that I have driven old cars across more states than I can remember. Lots of fun, and even more exitement, with old cars like that. Some times sitting outside on a field in all kinds of weather for years. Have some videos taken from some of my trips. Includes some small town car shows and the big IOLA, WI meet as well.

Einar.

the Red Ram came out of a old salt lake racer from the 50s. Its a 241. Im doing a full rebuild on it, and have got the Offenhauser manifold and the 3 X Holley 94s.

NICE !!! I thought that 241 was really hard getting parts for !?? I'd sure like to have your 'cuda with a little HEMI like that in it. To me, that would look real nice in the little 'cuda, with chrome valve covers. Hope you keep us posted with pictures as work continues on the rod project TD. THANKS.

For sure I will. Right now it has a little SBC in it so I can work out the kinks in the rest of the car until the Hemi is done.

But yea it is hard to get parts for, or on the other hand they are Mucho American Pesos

Pesos sure would be nice in the U.S. TD. Then our foreign currency would buy us a lot more goody, goody stuff (lol). But then again, the "ricecookers" (Norwegian nick-name for Asian cars) would be a lot more expensive for you guys. Perhaps not even for the worse, but for the better, because then you would by your "homemade" (domestic) cars and keep your own automobile industry going and keep the jobs.
