Funny it was originally sold to a funeral home. I guess someone was in a hurry to get buried.

Really cool car, but that car is still a lot of work. You can see in the few pictures, a LOT of dried out of that car. Super super cool

I find it pointless to bid on a car with a reserve. You know he is just testing the upper price limit so why participate?

I rarely do personally. If I want a car like that, I try to get on the phone to see what's real. I can't imagine it getting over 22-23, but crazy things happen

The interior shots look like they are from another car. The coral wagon has a black/white steering wheel and no door panels or roof panels in some pictures. And has old seat covers. In other pictures it has a nice original beige interior. Only color interior available in a coral car is black and white.

Maybe original looking but not original. I don't think the paint is original. Could be my eyes on both close up pics but the close up of the 500 emblem, you can see some runs just under the trim unless it's water. It also looks like a big scratch from trying to put the trim back on. Not to mention the actual quality of the paint on both close ups(500 emblem and custom emblem) the paint has the orange peel and ripple effect..

I'd say the interior was pulled and it got a quick tarty up. Same with the engine bay.. Still, I'd own it if I had that big old money tree.

If the seller is a scammer how did he manage to get such a big positive feedback on Ebay?
I am asking because sometimes I am helping some friends of mine to buy cars from Ebay. When I see 100% positive feedback and more than 100 feedbacks I feel somehow confident.

What happened to the rear quarter trim moulding? Is that how they were built? Super nice car anyway!

Take a look closely at this sellers profile. There's a few things that raise red flags. The 100% positive is only for 5 transactions conducted in the last 12 months as ebay only goes one year back. This seller has a negative feedback on the 3rd transaction from last year. The seller has also changed their ebay name 4 times since 2008. When looking at the transactions from more than a year ago, it's also interesting to note this seller had multiple transaction with the same "buyers" including selling them the exact same item on more than one occasion.

I think that is the way the molding had to be because the 9 passenger wagons had the spare tire mounted behind that removable panel the molding goes above. Obviously the design department didn't take that into consideration.

A quick Google image search indicates that the rear moulding is incorrect. For 9P Custom Sierra wagons, apparently the right rear quarter moulding was two pieces with the rearmost one retaining the upper ribbing but missing the lower inch or so to accommodate the removable panel.

I was just asking and I don't want to insult anybody. This is just my conclusion after I read what the other people wrote about the seller and the sale of the car.
Thanks for the clarification of Ebay feedback.

Just my observation: the car and photos do not match, as stated above. The coral wagon does not have a swivel seat. Two different cars are pictured. Also, how does one determine if it is indeed a 'Super D-500', as the invoice only denotes D-500. My suggestion is to go look at in in person before dropping 25 large on a car that is poorly advertised. Buyer beware...

I asked him to provide a photo of the data plate. That would confirm Super D500. No reply. Buyer beware.
