There is a thread in the german mopar-forum
An Austrian guy sell his 300G conv
sorry that I have not translated it
---

How much he is asking? is he hoping to get 130K€ for it or just speculataing its price would be that at american auction?
That seems to be a project car to me (even somebody might call it restored) with lots of warning signs.

Here is a translation:

I would like to offer my Chrysler 300 G convertible. It is an "original" Swiss vehicle. Original color was ARCTIC WHITE. He is complete and ready to go, where the engine is outdated. The steering wheel I have newly finished in Sweden. According to previous owner it had to be fitted front in the Switzerland with disc brakes. As a worldwide unique gadget, he has a ski carrier for the rear door...

According to Chrysler 300 Ownersclub, my car is the survivor of no. 126 of something over 300 pieces. I have the car for 5 years and it is in the same condition as when you buy, say 2007, the Swiss MotorfahrzeugKontrolle was completed.

Since top restored vehicles between 130.000.-and 220,000 dollars go away (depending on the season and financial crisis) I do hard me with the price positioning. If who has connections to restorers or auction houses in America sure a fitting object of speculation.

The thread must slice therefore also firmly be babbles to bring me in the pricing in a framework. Separate I actually only due to notorious non-use and he is definitely too good to stand around in my garage.

IMO the color change just kills the value, as is. But still a very desireable car.

The seller needs a different email address more suited to a Chrysler.

How about that yellow house ?

Wow. You'd need to wear shades around that place, even at night !

Regarding the car, I find the most telling point he makes is:

" The thread must slice therefore also firmly be babbles to bring me in the pricing in a framework.
Separate I actually only due to notorious non-use and he is definitely too good .... "

Framework pricing, sliced thread, babbles, notorious non-use. What else can a guy ask for ?

The driver's side rocker panel where it meets the rear fender lip seem to be totally wrong in profile, some really bad rust / bondo repairs going on here. There seems to be no lip at all around the fender opening.

There was a restored G covertible for sale in Finland last fall for about couple of months, asking price was 60 or 65K€. It was white with non GG seat covers. Pretty nice older amateur restauration, lets say drivers quality as the car was a dirver, no big issues. Engine was 440 but original motor came along. I heard that it sold for 50 thousand euros. It was much much nicer than this
If I had that money, it would in my carage now... but its not
I would never buy a car like this Swiss G unless its very cheap. Looking to rockers, interior, incorrect parts tells that it is a bomp, it would need a closer inspection to find out how those rockers and all other rust repairs have been done. In most cases you cannot restore those back "as it was new" unless you hire the best body man and pay for 1000 hours

Ok guys. It´s my car. And yes my house is yellow but not shades-yellow ;-) I did the fotos with an old digital cam...
Actually I´m asking 30.000.- Euro for it. Too cheap, too expensive ? I don`t know. I think for myself, I´ll never get the chance to by a 300G Convertible again. And if I can´t sell it it doesn´t matter, it is also a very nice design object in my garage besides my 59 Caddy and 61 Newport Hardtop wagon. I just thought anyone would have more fun to drive the car. Most Austrian and German guys want TripleX,VinDiesel,Dodge Charger toys... I don`t.

Robert, I think you are realistic with the price of 30K€. Even I might be interested in it now It is not too much for the G convertible even it is a project. I think you´ll sell it up here to Scandinavia to some letter car enthusiast
Sure for 30K you can buy many kind of nice yesterday toys

Adventurer 60, do the Scandinavians read in this forum ? I'd prefer to sell it in Europe due to shipping and financial reasons. I think in a few days I can make better fotos. Actually it's snowing and raining.

Erik, the Scandinavians do read this forum, no matter what region you post in. Not so many readers posts though. You might want to ad it in the Scandinavian Region.

I second the work quality of Magnus Stade - a very skilled and humble guy!!!

Yes they do. Of all forward look guys in Finland, everybody knows this forum (I think). Do not know about Swedes and Norwegians. They might not sign up or post messages due lingual issues but yes I think many of them read this forum as daily bases.
Finns buy thousands of used cars from Germany every year becouse they are there much cheaper and larger variety.
There are door to door services for transportation anywhere from Germany to anywhere in Finland for about thousand euros.
