Apparently not. ========================================= That would a liberal application of the term "restored". I believe any such effort depends on the buyer they are hoping to attract. | ||

Expert Posts: 3967 Location: DFW, TX | The photos of the car with nice paint is a recreation of the original. That version was built during the '80s by Joe Sulpy. The photos of the rundown car is the original Parisienne by Richard Korkes. It's "show car career" was during the late '50s/early '60s. The photos shown in the ad were taken in 2008. http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Richard_Korkes%27_1954_Fo... Some more info and one more image: http://jalopyjournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3389442&postcount=111 Another photo of the original: The original car was built from a '54 Ford convertible. The only thing that is "forward look" on the car above is now gone - a '57 Desoto upper bumper was used. But the windshield of the recreation sure looks like a '57-59 Mopar to these eyes!
