... not it's not (yet) another FL car, but it's related. I think this CHRYSLER - PLYMOUTH - FARGO dealership porcelain sign looks nice with my car.

My guess is late 1940's.

There are some maker's markings on it, but no dates, unfortunately.

Browsing the web for more info, I found only this other one that was in the same style. No idea what year it's from either.

Nice; how do y'all feel about a FWDLK "Master salesman's Club" solid gold Fargo ring--the others side says "Chrysler Plymouth"

Everything's got a price; this one ain't cheap, but, go find another one.

Having that sign in your garage would be awesome of course, but imagine how boss it would be to be driving around in your forwardlook with that ring on

The greatest car mfr's slogan of all time was Packard's "Ask the man that owns one".

I have a tie tack with this on it. I assume a salesman's item ? Fun stuff.

The ring is cool, but I much prefer my sign, Neil!

This Dodge-Desoto sign is in the same style, too. Definitely late 1940's early 1950's, I'd say.

Good find, David!
Those porcelianized signs are very colllectible and valuable!
I've not seen one with the Fargo logo, which makes it rarer yet.

That's OK; the "Grey Cup" of FWDLK rings (it's large and heavy and impressive) is taken out and worn at Olde Car events and gets a lot of attention, and doesn't take up much space, in the jewelry box.

For you guys who "would rather" have that sign; you do NOT happen to have that sign, do you?

I found this thread while searching for vintage porcelain Chrysler signs
If the seller and I can come to a fair deal for both of us I will be the owner of this sign.

Yes I am near Vancouver BC. This two sided sign was made in Vancouver BC, it is marked. The seller turned down my offer so it will not be going in my collection.

Judging by the style of the "P" in Plymouth I put in the early to mid 50's

VERY nice.....! (The ring is cool too).

The sign is from the 40's. If you look at Plymouth emblems on cars from the 1930's and 40's you will see the very same letter P and O style. I did not visit Frank and Mike. I post wanted ads in BC Canada and Washington state and visit every swap meet I can within a 6 hour drive. I do not own the sign, I made a offer to buy it Monday and turned down the counter offer. I believe the sign to be from Plimley's Chrysler Dodge in Vancouver BC. It was located at 2277 W. 4th Ave.
The sign was made in Vancouver BC as it is marked. I offered $2000 for it.

Mine is from a local dealership and the maker's marks are the same as yours, so that Vancouver company must have had the contract for all canadian signs at that time. I think you are right about the period, and that's what I thought too, mid to late 1940's. Probably used untill the late 1950's early 1960's.

The Verdun Motors (in Montreal, Quebec) photo from 1955 show the same style of sign, but with neons:

If I owned the sign I would have made one side neon. I was already on the phone to Northern Lights Neon in Washington to see if it was possible. As long as the thickness of the sign could house transformers and other parts it would have happened. This was one side would be original and the other a real attention getter.
