I bought this yesterday and it is in horrible shape,,but engine/transmission intact. Carb gone and I'm sure it is stuck tight. I will attach a picture of the data tag.

Alright....that's a real D500, which was Scheduled to have been built o.o.a. 10/5/56--early car, built in Detroit.

It has Solex tinted/shaded glass, and undercoating and power brakes and the optional TorqueFlite transmission.

Its interior is gold/black and its paint is as it appears.

It MIGHT have had the signal seeking radio, or, it was built without a radio, but it does have the Deluxe Appearance group, which
included spinner wheelcovers, stone guards, and the 2-tone steering wheel.

It was delivered by Truck to its selling dealership.

Went back to your General Discussion posting.

Somebody removed the radio, so it may well have had the signal-seeker in it.

If you can, check up under the dash, at the passenger's side hood hinge attachment studs.

The signal-seeker would have had a separate power amplifier installed there, which was wired
over to the radio.

If the AMP is there (highly unlikely, now), even in sh!tty condition, it will be worth $100.00.

There's a few signal-seekers out-there, but a lot fewer of the power amplifiers.
