Location: Watertown South Dakota		I bought this yesterday and it is in horrible shape,,but engine/transmission intact. Carb gone and I'm sure it is stuck tight. I will attach a picture of the data tag.

Location: bishop, ca		Alright....that's a real D500, which was Scheduled to have been built o.o.a. 10/5/56--early car, built in Detroit.

It has Solex tinted/shaded glass, and undercoating and power brakes and the optional TorqueFlite transmission.

Its interior is gold/black and its paint is as it appears.

It MIGHT have had the signal seeking radio, or, it was built without a radio, but it does have the Deluxe Appearance group, which
included spinner wheelcovers, stone guards, and the 2-tone steering wheel.

It was delivered by Truck to its selling dealership.

Location: bishop, ca		Went back to your General Discussion posting.

Somebody removed the radio, so it may well have had the signal-seeker in it.

If you can, check up under the dash, at the passenger's side hood hinge attachment studs.

The signal-seeker would have had a separate power amplifier installed there, which was wired
over to the radio.

If the AMP is there (highly unlikely, now), even in sh!tty condition, it will be worth $100.00.

There's a few signal-seekers out-there, but a lot fewer of the power amplifiers.
