Solid basis for restoring this special DeSoto Fire Flite Sportsman Coupe! Imported from California, technically the DeSoto is fine condition, inspected for Dutch registration. Drives great! Original color scheme of this car is GFG; coach "Dove Grey" with "Charcoal Grey" metallic roof and sweep. The restoration work is primarily in the paint, chrome and interior. Original 341 cu.i. Hemi V-8 with 295 hp, Torque Flite automatic three-speed transmission, brake and power steering, electric windows and bench, equipped with air conditioning (complete but not working). These are rare cars and beautiful ones cost between 60 and 80 thousand dollars. This is an opportunity for lovers of this unique Exner-designed Mopars! Pictures in high resolution are available. Location: Bjorneborg, Finland | Ahh OK, more pictures available when requested, OK! This DeSoto needs new paint & interior & chrome etc., so the price €20k is too high, imo. This
claim "beautiful ones cost between 60 and 80 thousand dollars" is such fantasy. They have also a 1958 DeSoto Firesweep for sale at €139,500 and
when looking other inventory (beautiful cars, though!) it makes wondering if middle-European old car hobbyists have lot of loose money. They should
come here up North Europe to see how old American cars are priced more realistic way. |
