'61 Chrysler Imperial??? Looks like a New Yorker or Saratoga to me. Do these people know anything about these cars?

Wow, that is SO not a 61 Imperial..... At least it's not as crass as that '58 Plymouth.

Obviously didn't walk around much. The 55 imperial convertible was a complete work of art.

Mike McCandless nailed it, they missed one of the best Mopars there. The '55 was really nice. I was only there on Friday so I didn't get to see as much as I would have liked.

Now that's how you make a car... Not that sad mess called a "pro-touring" 58 post Belvedere... with the trim painted on...

That looks like a newer motor (probably 5.7L) with the old valve covers and air cleaner mounted on top of it. A lot better looking this way than if they had the newer motor more visible, but I would be more impressed to see the older motor upgraded with new technology.

its a real 6.4 new hemi dolled up. Old motor with new tech is a lot more money and effort and a pita...

esp getting efi/timing working, old motor doesn't have cam markings or crank...

The '47 Town and Country in the link above had a similarly treated new Hemi with Gen 1 valve covers, they just didn't do as nice of a job using the air cleaner to hide the intake as the builder of the 55 did.

The interior on that red '71 "Cuda is horrendous.
