| I need a new motor mount and have only found those that fit the 1959 Firesweep. I have a Firedome with the BB 383, will these not work for it? Thanks as always for your input! |

As you know The Firesweep is a Dodge with De Soto Markings.
If it was I --- and I had only one motor mount that fit my vehicle ---- I would put it on the hardest side to get to.
The De Soto and All Chrysler's use the same Left or all Right Motor Support Bracket.

| Thanks for the replies everyone. Yesterday I was doing hot laps around the countryside. When I popped the hood after getting home, I noticed the engine was sitting higher on one side. It turns out the driver's side mount was coming apart. I suspected as much since I had never been able to tighten it up as much as the passenger side. The bolt just turns inside the rubber. Thanks again!
