Expert Posts: 2490 Location: Kansas City, KS | One single picture tells so much... Why paint half of a steering wheel a different color? Why leave such a deteriorated wheel when so much flash was spent on the rest of the car? Someone spent a lot of time carpeting around the accelerator pedal. I think this is the first time I've seen a recovered lower dash pad on a 57/58 Imperial. Missing VIN tag (tart_red.JPG) Attachments ---------------- tart_red.JPG (141KB - 135 downloads)

Extreme Veteran Posts: 394 Location: Royal Oak, MI | I like it, but it seems to me that there are so many better, original '57 colors that they could have chosen for the repaint. And a two-tone leather interior in correct colors would have added so much. The red and white on the seats does look cheap; not befitting an Imperial.

Expert Posts: 2490 Location: Kansas City, KS | Re-listed again - http://www.ebay.com/itm/371439224822 I finally recognized this car and it's restorer! It's this one if any one remembers (Pics below) http://forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=54259 The restorer is known for rattle-can rebuilds and flashy red paint http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/specific_search/Lash+Auto ($(KGrHqFHJCEFINDlGMmkBSGp5cYGKw--60_57.JPG) ($(KGrHqRHJ!4FIVDLYN+8BSGp6dDULQ--60_57.JPG) ($(KGrHqVHJBsFIEvvpF48BSGp5C5deQ--60_57.JPG) ($T2eC16FHJHQFFhs)V1YsBSGp5(6Svg--60_57.JPG) ($T2eC16JHJFsFFSQJ7RohBSGp6!z3)w--60_57.JPG) Attachments ---------------- $(KGrHqFHJCEFINDlGMmkBSGp5cYGKw--60_57.JPG (54KB - 133 downloads) $(KGrHqRHJ!4FIVDLYN+8BSGp6dDULQ--60_57.JPG (83KB - 129 downloads) $(KGrHqVHJBsFIEvvpF48BSGp5C5deQ--60_57.JPG (163KB - 136 downloads) $T2eC16FHJHQFFhs)V1YsBSGp5(6Svg--60_57.JPG (118KB - 127 downloads) $T2eC16JHJFsFFSQJ7RohBSGp6!z3)w--60_57.JPG (78KB - 132 downloads)
