Flipper.

Solid Car ? Not exactly. Look at the rust lurking around the trunk opening. It was there long before the new paint was sprayed. Just a taste of what is underneath.

My 60 had similar rust to the one pictured (not as bad), and it was the only rust through on the whole car except for the removable panel under the brake pedal. The trunk opening is a bad design, no drainage. This car could have rust elsewhere to though, and would need looking at carefully if you were a buyer.

Car looks loaded, stainless roof, auto pilot, power vents, front and rear air, mirrormatic.

Pity the LeBaron hub caps are missing. $6.6 still.

2 and 1/2 days to go, I tip it will go for less than $10K.

Steve.

As mentioned, there is no provision for drainage in that lip, no holes or anything, it was poor design. Very, very common rust out area. I tried to buy this car before this guy bought it, it was in a collection of about 10 Imperials. I offered them full price but it had been sold the day before (to a neighbor I was told). Saw lots of pics of it. It's solid car. These are extremely rust prone.

I see that it is also listed on several craigslist sites for $7500

Maybe it sold off one of the craigslist ads or he accepted an offer to avoid the e-bay fees.
